We rolled up our sleeves and started cooking today!
We had three different groups of students each learning how to properly cook and freestyle a recipe made with one of the following starches: potatoes, rice, and pasta Each of which are a historically a huge success among dinner guests at No Beef weekly events.
Chef Kelston taught us how to properly hold a knife as we practiced our skills on onions. Looking into the future for our final event, we created vision boards to start brainstorming what we want this event to look like. Our vision was crafted around question: “if Hunt’s Point had a restaurant, how would you want it to be?” Here's some of the answers via some awesome student visuals!
